ASSIGNMENTS

Christian is available anywhere in the world for corporate, commercial or scientific visual communication, photo assignments, consultancy and storytelling. He has extensive experience with communication assignments, scientific outreach and dissemination, and documentary photography in various (often extreme) environments and circumstances e.g. the open ocean, active volcanoes, war zones, polar regions, extreme islands communities (e.g. Pitcairn, Nauru, Tanna, Juan Fernandez, …). Equipped with the latest equipment, multilingual, and always enthusiastic to learn, he is prepared for any task.

SPEAKING
ENGAGEMENTS

Christian is a passionate speaker and has already presented his work in 11 countries on 3 different continents for different occasions and for different audiences. In addition to an inspiring speaker for corporate venues, he was the keynote speaker at various conferences and presented his work in embassies, universities, schools, etc.
Christian was an official delegate of Belgium at the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP25 in Madrid, COP26 in Glasgow and COP28 in Dubai, where he gave keynotes and participated in panel discussions. He also gives workshops and photography lessons (private or in group).

EXPEDITION
GUIDING

Christian is a global traveler with broad international knowledge and networks. He has extensive cultural and geographical knowledge and experience after more than 25 years of exploration in more than 114 countries. He can provide advice to customers looking for (tailor-made) travel solutions and extreme destinations. Christian holds professional licences such as a firearms permit (mandatory in the arctic for polar bears), professional boating licence (including GMDSS), Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Coastal Skipper, Yachtmaster Offshore certified, as well as the necessary RYA Level 2 Powerboat Handling. His social skills, leadership qualities and language skills are an absolute plus.
