N’situ Pelende in the Democratic Republic of the Congo
The N’situ Pelende project by Colruyt Group is a large-scale reforestation initiative in the Democratic Republic of Congo, aiming to plant 12 million trees across 10,000 hectares to restore biodiversity and capture 120,000 tonnes of CO₂. Beyond tree planting, it supports local communities with sustainable agriculture, economic opportunities, and social infrastructure, fostering both environmental and social resilience.
