2021-2030 is the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development. The decade aims to improve the global community's ability to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, with a particular emphasis on the goal "Life in the Sea". With this year's Europe Days, we want to show the potential of innovation in the marine sector, both regionally, nationally and internationally. Open Day - Europe Day 2024 | Berlaymont, Brussels [BE]

On Saturday 4 May 2024, from 10 am to 6 pm, at the European quarter in Brussels. Europe Day is the European Institutions Open Day. It is a unique opportunity for citizens to discover how the institutions of the European Union (EU) work, what their main priorities are and what concrete actions they undertake.

I am proud to exhibit in the Berlaymont building which houses the headquarters of the European Commission, the executive branch of the European Union (EU).

European Maritime Day, organised by the European Commission; in collaboration with the Danish Maritime Authority and the Municipality of Svendborg — Using Image to bridge the gap between science, education and policy | SIMAC Academy (Svendborg International Maritime Academy), Svendborg [DK]

The European Maritime Day (EMD) is the annual two-day event during which Europe’s maritime community meet to network, discuss and outline joint action on maritime affairs and sustainable blue economy. The EMD is the place where ‘Ocean Leaders Meet’. It provides an engaging and completely interactive experience to catch up on the current state of play on a broad range of issues concerning the blue economy and the marine environment and to discuss ways of moving forward. The EMD targets professionals from businesses, governments, public institutions, NGOs and academia as well as EU citizens interested in the Sea.

I will exhibit 22 photos (outdoor exhibition) and give a keynote at the European Maritime Day, Organised by the European Commission, the Municipality of Svendborg and the Danish Maritime Authority
